Candy Shop

Drop sweets. Build bigger treats.

A cozy mobile merge puzzle about placing candy, triggering soft physics combos and chasing one more satisfying evolution.

Active development with 13 candy stages, 10 container rulesets, eight special-candy effects and a planning layer built around hold, landing preview and the next-three queue.

Inside the current build

Every container rewrites the puzzle.

The merge rule stays constant; the field does not. A flask changes the usable space, the hourglass creates a choke point, triple portals split the plan, rotating gravity upends settled candy, and obstacle walls turn the finale into controlled chaos.

Active development. Current work focuses on mobile performance, UI polish, candy balance, container pressure and readable combo feedback.

Features

What players do in Candy Shop.

Drop-and-merge candy play

Players place sweets into the container, use gravity and timing, then merge matching candies into larger treats.

13-stage candy chain

The merge ladder gives every run a visible goal, from tiny sweets to bigger reward pieces with stronger screen presence.

Combos and special sweets

Eight implemented special-candy effects form paired recipes and side effects, giving repeated sessions more tactical texture.

Cozy mobile presentation

Soft colors, candy-shop backgrounds and touch-friendly UI make the game readable for short iOS and Android sessions.

Gameplay loop

Choose the drop, control the container and keep the merge chain alive.

  • Step 01Read the next candy

The player checks the next sweet, the current stack and the available space inside the container.

  • Step 02Place with intention

A drop can set up a clean merge, block a future move or create pressure that changes the next decision.

  • Step 03Merge and combo

Matching candies evolve into bigger treats, and chain reactions reward smart placement.

  • Step 04Progress and repeat

Players chase higher candy stages, better runs, cleaner combos and future progression rewards.

Story / world

A cheerful candy shop where every sweet can become something bigger.

Candy Shop began in 2025 as WillowinWorld's second game idea: a bright, cozy candy merge puzzle built around simple joy and satisfying physics.

The world is intentionally warm and readable: shelves, sweets, soft mascots and shop-like containers support the fantasy that every tiny candy has a path toward becoming a bigger treat.

After the first prototype, the team expanded the GDD, rebuilt the direction, completed the 13-candy merge chain and implemented ten container rulesets, special recipes, planning tools and the first meta-progression systems.

A familiar merge rule across ten different containers.

Candy Shop keeps the drop-and-merge rule readable while each container changes usable space, gravity, obstacles or the route into the stack.

The current build extends short runs with daily challenges, Candy Book discoveries and local score tables.
